It's me again,
I'm calling on you.
You asked me
Did I love someone
more than You.
My reply was simply "No"
You asked me again,
As if You didn't know
I said emphatically
"Not more than You"
You asked me again,
I didn't want to argue.
But sometime later
I realized
That You know me
And my heart lies.
So then, I had to confess
You're true
And I was sorry
I loved someone more than You.
Forgive me, Lord
Is all I could say.
And You cleansed my soul
Right Away!
