Sometimes when I am alone
I hear You speak to me
from Your throne.
Sometimes when I am still and quiet
Your still small voice
speaks to me in the night.
Those are the times
I feel closer to You
It thrills my soul when You speak
And You do!
I'm always amazed
That You'd talk to me
in that special way
that sets my heart free.
I long for that quiet time
that we spend
and I wait for the time
I will hear You again.
