There has to be a new song
to sing unto the Lord.
The old ones are quite lovely
but I want to give Him more.
Something new to sing to Him
the Lord of everything.
Something pleasing to His ears
Oh glorious, King of kings.
Most Holy God to serve You
Is always on my mind.
And my desire is for You
I'm seeking til I find
The perfect song of worship
Praise and adoration.
So in my song I lift You up
In prayerful celebration.
Of who You are and what You did
The sacrifice You made
Of sending us Your precious Son
So that our debts were paid.
